Children’s book Idea
‘Dolls and dinosaurs’
Taking a sip from a wineglass
Wondering if he will ever ask
He has special effects!
Glitter tree ornaments
On my windowsill
A fantasy of being dead
No voices inside in head
How many sleeps?
It raises the ugly head of jealousy
Diets suck
I need a new body
A new butt
A new belly
I feel stuck
I will smile,anyway
But clouds are coming in
In the light of the setting sun
You passed me a bottle of rum
Your hands were sliding down my bum
We kissed and kissed, your lips were yum!
The cold grey steps of life
Puzzlement (Schizophrenia)
The mood and magic
I like to imagine it
You are engraved ,right here
I would give you every star
All the treasure you ever saw
The sound of the piano
The taste of marshmallow
The smell of burning wood
Remembering my childhood
The Seaside
We are all going on the bus to the seaside
I can already see the seagulls flying by
I am hoping that the waves are really high
We have a picnic of sandwiches and pie
The sun is shining in the window
I am thinking of ice cream sundaes
That are totally blissful!
I have a bucket and spade
And lot’s of 2’ps for the arcade
I am hoping to meet a mermaid
I’m looking really cool in my cap and shades
I am wondering what will I find in the cave’s?
I hope mum has packed the lemonade
I promise to stay in sight and behave
When we finally get to our destination
We have reached illumination
We run to the beach, feel our hearts beat
And delve into our imaginations
I would like to make some friends
Buy them a lolly with my spends
I would like to play beach ball
Walk along on the side wall
Learn how to do the front crawl
And how to throw a cricket ball
I would like to ride a horse
Have a go on the golf horse
Mum covers me up in sun cream
I look for rock pools and little streams
Maybe I will meet a boy
Maybe I will tickle his toes
Maybe I will find a stick
Draw a heart and take a photo of it!
I want to put flowers in my hair
Breath in the salty air
End all warfare
Have a game of truth or dare
I would like a little tan
Spread my arms for a wingspan
I want to find a shell and listen
I want to watch the boats glisten
But the people at home?
I do miss them
In the evening, wearing my best clothes
The Sun has given me a pink nose!
There’s a bouncy castle at the pub
And a playground made out of tree wood
And when the stars appear
Shining like my crystal souvenir
I thank God for bringing me here as
I’m throwing stone’s off the long,long pier
The carousel and ferris wheel
Lot’s rock and sticky dummies for a sweetmeal
Looking at silly postcards in the shop
In my illuminous jelly flip-flops!
And when it’s time to go home
And there’s lot’s of sand in the car
I’m trying to get through my hair
With a small comb
Holding on to my starfish star
I’ve bought some rocks to paint and shine
I’m happy with me find
All those special times we dined
Will stay in my mind
A holiday can spellbind
Remembering sand creations
And saying goodbye to our relations
