In this pretty world

I watch the boys and girls

Holding hands,playing

diamonds and pearls

Dinosaurs and icebergs

When I lost my friends

When I couldn't talk

Alone I walked

Books,ebony and ivory

Looking ever since I was at primary

I wanna be a bright berry

Funny how life can look like a victory

When really there is misery

You pray for magic and wizardry

Staying home

Are you in the warm?

Growing ,like sweetcorn?

Singing with the birds at dawn?

I don't wanna be a clone

Or worry about the O zone

The future

Will I be alone?

I can only say its the devil

Those in peril

I need a dot leaf

I've been stung by a nettle

To great lengths

How far would you go for love?

Would you release a thousand doves?
