There’s a stained glass window sky mirrored into a pond, little boy suggests they look for sign of life
,a fish,a frog but the little girl is more taken by the flowers. She picks one and smells it.

We could hide in the romantic shed under the covers.

In the clothes on the washing line but then run inside because there’s bee.
Girl says ‘Mum,can we have an ice pop’?Again they share the experience, they are best friends and love to play in the sun.

Little girl brings out the water gun and chases him around.

They lose their football over the fence and ‘Mrs Grottbags’ shouts at the children. They go on a bike ride on the park,do a little street art with coloured pastels on the pavement, they have been watching ‘Mary Poppins’!

They go to the ‘top shop’ to buy penny sweets, gob stoppers, bubblegum and they buy a ‘special’ from Robinsons ice cream van.
They play ‘curby’ with a football, little girl skates to his house.
They play ‘hop scotch’ and share a little kiss. It’s a hot summer, they have freckles and burnt noses!
Mum get the hosepipe out, they are running and laughing,it’s a happy day.

Little girl looks for ladybirds
Little boy looks for worms

Little girl has her Wendy house
Little boy has his tepee

In the evening they go home, until their next adventure.

Blackberry picking, walking over springs, even going to the seaside and collecting pebbles and shells ,listening to the ‘sea music’ of the shells.

However, the little boy moves away, the magic has disappeared and the little girl is devastated.
Her parents won’t tell her where he has gone because they know she will try and follow.
All they tell is it’s another country.

She cries. The garden is empty. She writes him a letter and put’s it in a bottle. She prays.
She prays he will get that letter.
Every wave makes her cry,as she goes to the beach and throws the bottle in the ocean.
Maybe if she could out his address she could send out a dove with a note.

Camera shows patient in hospital bed, many years later. She is a old woman, drifting in and out of sleep and remembering her youth.
She knows her time is nearly up.
She says ‘It’s cancer’
‘Yes,it’s cancer and it is too late.’

But don’t worry this room is filled with Angel’s.

Know this, love is glorious and free,So go and find it,find your true love, cross oceans on a gondola, cross skies on a small airplane, anything is possible, love will soothe your pain.
They could live next door, two doors down or thousands of miles away. But I must tell you if you find it,please don’t walk away.

I will give you my pebbles and shells as a token of my love.I hope they bring you happiness as I watch right above. If you are feeling lonely, lost or misunderstood, watch the clouds for my hand reaching out.
I do not have that many things, not many cases or photos with me.But if you need to remember I’m that bird in the sycamore tree.
Sycamore wings shall fall on your shoulders and birdsong will make you believe.

Camera shows sycamores flying through the sky

Camera shows rain on window in hospital.

And every tear upon that window will join a spring, take you to the ocean and teach you to sing.

Camera shows woman closing  her eyes then opening them again,
Relative holding her hand.

Woman’s final words

She smiles and says ‘The day we first spoke over the hedge was the best day’
