New York

New York

I want to bite the Big Apple
Look around the Gospel Chapels
I want to see Time’s Square
The smell of hotdogs in the air
I want to shop at Bloomingdales
Find lot’s a bargains,hit the sales!
I want to travel on the subway
Catch a show on Broadway
I want to go up the Empire State Building
Buy a bagel with a cream cheese filling!
I want to go up the Statue of Liberty
Pray for New Yorkers in poverty
I want to go on a helicopter ride
Make sure I see everything in the tourist guide!
I want to see a sunset on Central Park
I want to see the whole city lit up when it goes dark
I want to go to China town
Find a beautiful flowing gown
Or go for coffee at Starbucks and
Watch that one with the looks!
I want to go on a horse and cart
Visit museums of history and art
I want to take the train to Niagara Falls
And see lots of Montreal
I want to take a yellow cab,a limosine
I want to live the dream
I want to go to a Fashion show
Go to New York when its heavy snow

New York at Christmas
See the city glow

Running

Running,running,running,running-Be

‘A hand of fire’-Kay Boyle

‘Poured the milk of avalanche’-Kay Boyle

Autumnal stars
The leaves have fallen
The trees are bare
The constellations are up there!

I was once high-heeled and doll faced

Schizophrenia
Bedroom of despair
I put a white circle there
To feel protected

A special dress
The Asian stars

‘Fields that are eternal’-Edwin Arlington Robinson

I just want to cry and sleep
I’m obese
I want to write a masterpiece

The touch of the button
Domestic dwellings

I want to live in a baker’s house!

I put on white tights
Thinking we might
Fit together

I put on lip stick
Thinking how we could click
Find our treasure

I put on perfume
Thinking how cool
Let’s find pleasure

Pretty spray
I breathe,I smile,I pray

Cereal called ‘The Berry’

Let’s start the day with rolled oats
And end it with the stars

Gazing up
The emotions

God it’s dark let me find a candle

Fresh eyes
Let’s go under the covers
And be tender lovers

Autumn

Where is my warm coat?
I wonder,can I make one from
The falling leaves?
The colour of conkers falling from the trees

All the children are walking to school
Through the gold and treasure,
Kicking the leaves in windy weather
The wind has stopped holding its breath
And the leaves are like howling ghosts

I hold a leaf in my hand,it’s a autumn moment
A silent moment,and vibrant
When a squirrel runs across the road,
There is excitement

Every tree has enchantment
Every bird is singing in commandment
Hats and scarfs, hot soups and hot baths
Hot water bottles and reading novels
Coffee on the run, putting the heating on
Feeling bad for the postman bringing parcels
Looking at the sky for Guy Fawkes sparkles
Going on the park for bonfire night
Going trick or treating and giving a fright
Getting stuck in the mud
Putting up your hood
Using a umbrella
Picking out the leaves that have turned yella!
Walking in totally wet
Leaving our shoes on the step
Putting the fire and your slippers on
Making hot chocolate for everyone
When you go shopping on the high street
Leaves always get under your feet
Your eyes watch them twirl around
Turning into different shapes
Sticking to windows and windscreens
Under the cloudscape
I want to jump in a pile of leaves
I know just the place

Universes
Away from you
Light-years
From your sleeping back
Spindrift of stars between us
After
Sharing water
In the yellow desert of the bedroom
Dreams
Filled with insect-men
Warm giants their heads made of animals
Counting electric sheep
Doors that talk back to you
Vortices of time
Turned by the alarm clock
Nebulae
In your waking eyes
Time-warp
Of your morning kiss

Depression and emptiness
I want to get my weight down and
Be the best

It’s a daily test,
It’s been years since I have been kissed
Or gone near the opposite sex
I hate the way I dress
I hate the way the jest

Reasons for Angels

Angels watch the world
They exist in boys and girls
And the way the ocean curls
Angel, won’t you sit next to me
Your truth and love is what I need
Will you help me flower amongst
These leaves and deadly weeds
Please give me a sign
I secretly pine
For some kind of connection
I am alone
I am in a cold zone
I am praying, someone talk to me please
Invite me out stop giving me the freeze
I will get up today
Fight the wind and rain

All those trees

All those trees
All those years
Sorry tears

Looking at the city
Lot’s of yellow cabs and luxury pads
The lights are like jewels around my neck
I cannot stop staring,it’s magic
Inside I dream we are dancing to candlelight
And kissing and kissing into the night
You sleep next to me instead of being busy
I am breathing to hear ‘the words’
And capture a ladybird
My heart forever ……..

Kissing in the sunlight
Risking in the moonlight
Dissing in the spotlight
A trip to Northern Lights

Turn the volume up
Fill my golden cup
Wish me good luck

Need to find a house,a flat
But if I’m alone,my might crack

Anything
Everything

All the love I have
When life is good or bad
If your feeling sane or mad
I’ll have your back

Fat- the cost is frost

The music’s playing and I am praying
There’s people dancing and I am swaying
You dance with her and my heart is failing
I need your kiss so let’s go sailing
If I could write you a letter
I would be mailing
If I had your number I would be dialling
If you spoke to be I would be flying
If we went on a date
You could be my shipmate
If we held hands and ordered a special
From the ice cream van
Talk about undiscovered lands
Even plan a life together with wedding bands
If we went to a disco
Sat next to each other on the back row
Go out for coco
Find ‘that’ dress in Vogue
Would you save me from an earthquake?
Bring me flowers for when I wake?
Make me a dozen fairy cakes?
Take me out in a boat on the lake?
Would you make me breakfast in bed?
As I opened my eyes, would you stroke my head?
Would you push me on the swing?
Always tell me everything?
Would you share a small tent?
Go everywhere I went?
Would you write me little notes?
Offer me your thick coat?
Would you cook me a romantic meal?
And always be honest and real?
Would you light lot’s of candles?
Buy me a pair of earrings that dangle?
Would you give me stars and smiles?
Would you travel miles and miles?
Would you take me ice skating?
Protect me from eating or wasting?
Would you meet me in the pool?
Skinny dip and sing me a tune?
Would you rescue me from a fire?
Would you pick me out from a choir?
Would you stop me crying, tell me
To keep trying and listen to my dreams?
Build up my self-esteem?
Would you worship me in the nude?
And be there for every mood?
If I get voices, will you make me feel better with
‘I love U’s?

Summer highlights

Putting on the summer bedding
Going to my cousins wedding
Having a pedicure
By the Lake of Allure
In her dress, she looked so pure
When she danced,it was forever
The sun came out just in time
And I saw lot’s and lot’s of hills to climb
Our Sophie was a flowergirl
Her eyes shone like stars above the world
Our John took his place on the dancefloor
Played to the camera,Mr Twinkle Toes!
The day was magical
It was an Auricle (hearts chamber!!)
The food tasted really good
We drank the wine like an open bud
We listened to the wedding speeches
As the bride and groom dreamed of
‘alone time’ and golden beaches
I took some photographs,
Catching JoJo walk down the path
Drinking champayne served by hotel staff
Watching my cousin breakdance
Catching up with uncles and aunts
There was a cutting of the cake
And the confetti looked like snowflakes
I think I had too much to drink I do,
But I also had a hotel bed to sink into!

Summer lowlights

Countless time’s being caught in the rain
Dealing with daily headache pain
Summer blues
Everyone’s pairing off in two’s
I’m trying to like different foods
I step on the scales and
I forget about the sales!
Ordered books on amazon
That were way too thin and
Not attending after or swim
Not getting a job or any interviews
I pray a little to God

My ideal Summer

Starts in January
Ditching the chocolate for
Juicy strawberries!
Attending the gym and feeling like I can win
Watching the weight melting away
Breaking a smile everyday
Then I can book a holiday
Finding the perfect bikini
Feeling like a bond girl with
A glass of martini
Touching his hands on the dancefloor
Glinting my eyes as he open’s the taxi door
And lot’s of laughing and photographing
In total awe
On my side, someone kind, that wants me more
