Battle

Like waves crashing into each other

Didn’t do much today

Are they preparing me or scaring me away?

Ghosts and goblins and all my problems

God,send me a ray

His voice is still here and so are my tears

It’s been 17 years

I know it sounds weird

But I really want him to pay

Now I feel like a stray

A helpless baby

Do my family know what is happening to me?

I tell the truth ,he wont let me free

Is everyone deceiving me?

I can feel the hate and jealousy

Does he have the key to my heart?

Or is he sat down pulling my petals apart?

I didn’t know this was possible

But I feel like its been so costly though

I’m not young anymore

Sometimes I’m afraid to walk out the door

I cry because the pain is raw

He drew,brand-newed me,wooed me!

I dreamt I fitted Cinderellas shoe

I dreamt we held hands into the blue

I dreamt we shared a rainbow moment

By the beach with a picnic peach!

By the lake with a picnic cake!

By the stream with picnic strawberries and cream!

By the park with a picnic apple cart!

By the park with a picnic jam tart!

By the Mountain with a picnic biscuit tin!

By the sea with a jar of honey!

Have a good swim

I would have a healthy breakfast and

Stop binging on chocolate

I wouldn’t be full of regret

I would correct my sins

I would have no anxiety

My clothes would fit me perfectly

I would go out more oftenly

Wear high heels and pretty dresses

I would be a confident me
