Teasing fragrance

Teasing fragrance of the firewood smoke

Swaying in a fishing boat

A sunset peace

A piano piece

I set down the blanket for us

'Bulbs,and berries,petal,seeds and wings'-Anon

I wanna travel on a pilgrimage

I wanna find God on a pilgrimage

Eyes on you

Tell the truth

Hand in hand

Making plans

Smiling,looking at the brochure stand

The Lamp of hope

You threw me a rope

Pulled me into your boat

A darker piece

A drop,a drop,a drop of blood

A knife taken from the kitchen cupboard

Maybe they were arguing and wouldnt shut up

Did someone forget to do the washing up?

Did someone walk in on two of them having it off?

There's blood on the kitchen clock

There's blood on the washing and baby socks

There's be prints on that half drunk scotch

I wonder,

Did the neighbours see anything?

Did they ever talk,confide in?

Did they see anyone arriving?

A milkman,a postman,someone gardening?

A window cleaner,shining?

The TV is on loud in the lounge

Theres a shoebox of letters lying around

The fire is going but burning out

The curtiains are open letting in the light

There's a spiders web,its a sorry sight

The body is put in a bag

That somebody has a mum and a dad

Its quite sad

The police, ask, tell us if you have anything to add

'A carousel of light and glitter'-Jackie Hutchinson

Poetic flow

A twinkling song

A night in concert

Singing along

Giving time

I like working at the charity shop

Its amazing what things you can pick up

It really feels good to be helpful

Putting on the kettle

Unwrapping donations,being gentle

Giving time

Creative and kind

Putting on your best smile

Enchanting sunsets and yellow dresses

Holidays with your besties

Getting away from those desks

Baring our chests!!
