Totally in denial

Totally in denial

I need to diet

I wish this noise in my head would be quiet

There’s no-one on the streets

It a ghost town but there’s peace

Stir-crazy

‘It doesn’t matter where we are my dear

With you it is a beautiful place’-Mark Anthony

‘I am yours

The way the sunlight belongs to the sea

The way the wind belongs to the trees

The way the flowers belong to the earth’-Mark Anthony

The quiet side of love

And the right address

Don’t stop dreaming

It gives life meaning

If your just sweeping

Go ahead keep singing

Today is a beginning

I am yours for keeps

I am yours for leaps

I am yours for weeps

I need the next chapter

‘Colours of orange .red and gold

They’re swirling all around’-Natalie Miles

January

I have no flippin money

And there selling Easter bunnies

Febuary

I have no valentine

I always try to be kind

I don’t want to be the back of the line

It’s why I write rhyme

March

First it’s pancake day

Sugar on strawberries

Then its Mothers day

Chocolate and a big bouquet

April

April Fools day

Daffodils and sunny

Then there’s the Easter holiday to run and play

May

There’s a bank holiday

The fairground comes to town

There’s hot dogs and candy!

And a chance to win a teddy!

June

We have longer days and the sun should be out

Let’s walk to the top park and go on the roundabout

Count the birds like proper nerds!

July

Time to go abroad or maybe down south

Putting lot’s of ice cream and cream teas down our mouths

A day at the beach or maybe two weeks

August

Pitching up a tent in the grand garden

Buying 10 pence ice pops, what a bargain!

Hay fever is rock and rolling

September

The schools start back walking in the leaves

Girls and boys make their deliveries

Then they go to the classroom

Where the teacher reads

October

Conkers in the trees

Searching on your knees

Seas of orange ,red and brown

Halloween treats

And dieting cheats!

November

The fifth of November

The fireworks of splendour

They are only there for seconds

But you always remember

December

The fairy lights are up at home

And in the shops

Shelves are stocked with biscuits and chocs

Christmas socks and sparkly frocks

Santa hats and festive flats
